The GPDN is a network that links Guatemalans and non Guatemalans in the world, including those in Guatemala, who are willing to support peace and development for Guatemalans. Members may be individuals, groups or organizations, and the only prerequisite to become part of the network is to accept the mission, objectives and goals that have been set up. The network promotes a functional democracy for our societies, and uses democratic methods within the organization. The network believes that human rights, the rule of law and social justice are fundamental elements of democracy in any part of the world. The network is not politically affiliated to any party or organization in any part of the world. However, it believes in political action to produce necessary transformations in states and societies.
